Differences between SuperOnce ya! and Eurojackpot

SuperOnce vs Eurojackpot

Superonceya! and Eurojackpot are two draws under the brand of ONCE (National Blind Organization of Spain), but of different design.

The Eurojackpot is a lottery of European character and in which several European countries participate, while the SuperOnce is a type of bet that ONCE organises exclusively in Spain.

The SuperOnce of the ONCE

The Super Once game is a type of lottery of the so-called betting type. It consists of choosing a combination of a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 11 numbers from a drum containing balls numbered from 1 to 80 and from which 20 balls are extracted.

The player can place his bets on 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 or 11 numbers, and he makes his bet at the price he wants (1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10 €).

Each number of hits, has a pre-set prize as follows:

No. chosen Prize
11 numbers 1,000,000 €
10 numbers €300,000
9 numbers 60,000€
8 numbers 10,000 €
7 numbers 3.000 €
6 numbers 500€
5 numbers €225

However, these predefined amounts for prizes are based on the collection of each draw, and the payment is made based on successes, so that if a player has made his bet based on 10 numbers, but only hits 7, no the same prize corresponds to him if he had bet for seven numbers and all seven were correct.

To see it a little clearer, let’s look at the following table, which identifies the prize for each euro wagered:

Num of hits Type of bet
11 10 9 8 7 6 5
11 1,000,000 €
10 50,000 € 300,000 €
9 1,000 € 5,000 € 60,000 €
8 115 € 500 € 3,000 € 10,000 €
7 25 € 50 € 100 € 400 € 3,000 €
6 5 € 12 € 10 € 25 € 115 € 500 €
5 2 € 2 € 5 € 12 € 15 € 26 € 225 €
4 2 € 5 € 5 € 12 €
3 2 €3

0 2€ 2€ 2€

The organisation only pays for the top prize, meaning that if a player hits the 11 numbers bet, he will only charge the amount foreseen for that category, but will not accumulate the successes of the lower categories.

The Eurojackpot draw

The Eurojackpot is a European lottery based on matching a complete combination of 5 numbers of a table containing 50 numbers, plus 2 extra numbers called “soles” from a second table with 12 soles.

A raffle is held every week, on Fridays and has up to 12 prize categories.

The minimum bet price online is from € 3.50, and the amount of prizes varies according to the collection, except the first category that has established a minimum pot of € 10,000,000, which in case of not having winners in any of that category, is accumulated for the next draw reaching a maximum of € 120,000,000, at which time in case there are no winners, that amount remains fixed until someone gets it, and the remaining amounts are moved to the second category that can also accumulate up to a maximum of 120,000,000.
